There are two gay male penguins who have paired off at the Odense Zoo in Denmark.
The cute couple badly wanted to have a baby of their own.
Keepers spotted them at times trying to steal other couples’ eggs!
During brooding season they apparently tried to incubate a dead herring!!
A zoologist said:
“[The two] seriously wanted to stay with an egg.”
Ya think?! Ha!
Well their miracle came when a female laid two eggs and rejected one.
After successfully practicing on a fake egg the same-sex couple was given the egg to incubate.
It hatched with no problems and is now a cute baby penguin!
Congrats, dads!

Emperor penguins are Olympian swimmers, capable of diving to 1,750 feet and remaining underwater 20 minutes on a single breath. “I was mesmerized by their beautiful bubble trails,” says Nicklen, who braved 28°F water to capture these images.
