Insurers Fork Over Nearly Half A BILLION Bucks In Dog Bites A Year!

Insurance companies do not like dogs…

At least not OTHER peoples’ dogs!

In 2011, insurance companies paid a whopping 9 million in dog bite claims. State Farm alone paid 9 million from 3,800 dog bite claims.

Children five to nine and seniors are the most bitten, and Californians have it the worst, with 527 claims equaling .3 million filed last year.

El Lay recorded the most bites of any city with 83. San Diego was second with 68.

The average cost pet claim? ,799! And the ASPCA claims that half of America’s children will be bitten by a dog by the age of 12!

What is going on with all the dog bites?!

Rare Anteaters Targeted By Zimbabwe Hunters For Asian Remedies

First rhino and elephant tusk…now this?

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals claims that Zimbabwean poachers are looking rare anteaters for Asian countries.

Asia’s demand for exotic animals for their medicine is staggeringly increasing, and anteaters are next on the list.

Zimbabwe sees anteaters as creatures of power and mystery but three bodies have been recovered from poachers.

The latest recoveredanteater had its scales removed, scales being a main ingredient in Asian remedies.

Poor anteaters.
