Congratulations, Paula Abdul!
The American Humane Association has recognized Paula for her work with the Pets and Women’s Shelters (PAWS) Program.
The program protects pets from domestic violence and keeps families and pets together when escaping abusive situations.
Abdul has supported the program in a variety of capacities including being a spokesperson, creating a PSA, creating awareness among domestic violence shelters, and extensive fund-raising.
Here’s what the COO of PAWS, Dale Austin, had to say about Paula:
“It is our great pleasure to confer on Paula Abdul this award of recognition dedicated to the outreach she has performed, not only for PAWS, but for the entire American Humane Association. Thanks in part to her, the lives of many women, children and pets in dire need have benefited and improved.”
